Our Federal Government client is seeking a Data Engineer with expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), ETL processes, and data migration to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines to support data-driven initiatives. This role involves migrating data from diverse sources into various SaaS platforms, ensuring data integrity, security, and quality throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to extract, transform, and load data from on-premises and cloud sources.
  • Implement and manage ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow and high-quality data.
  • Perform data migration from legacy systems and various data sources into different SaaS platforms.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all data processes, pipelines, and data migration procedures.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications
  • Must have Baseline Clearence
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Expertise in Azure Data Factory, including pipeline design, data flows, and integration runtimes.
  • Strong understanding of ETL concepts and experience with ETL tools.
  • Experience with data migration projects, particularly involving SaaS platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
