We are seeking an experienced
Data & Analytics Delivery Lead / Technical Project Manager
to drive the successful delivery of Databricks programs. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of
leading large-scale data platform initiatives
—particularly
migrations from SQL Server and CRM systems into Databricks
—and possess both technical expertise and delivery leadership skills.

This is a hybrid role combining
hands-on technical understanding
with
program/project management capability
to ensure successful outcomes across stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the
    delivery of data platform transformation programs
    , with a focus on migrating SQL Server and CRM workloads to Databricks.
  • Own the
    end-to-end delivery lifecycle
    , including planning, execution, risk/issue management, stakeholder communication, and governance.
  • Translate
    business objectives
    into delivery plans and technical execution strategies.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including
    data engineers, solution architects, and business SMEs
    across multiple geographies (India and Australia).
  • Oversee development and implementation of
    Databricks pipelines, data modelling, ETL processes, and integrations
    with enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure
    data governance, security, and compliance
    standards are met throughout the migration.
  • Drive adoption of
    Agile / DevOps delivery practices
    within the team.
  • Provide
    technical leadership
    to guide architecture and design decisions in Databricks, while escalating and resolving delivery risks.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years' experience
    in IT project/program delivery, with at least
    5 years in Data & Analytics programs
    .
  • Proven background in
    leading Databricks implementations
    , preferably in large enterprise settings.
  • Strong experience with
    data migration
    from
    SQL Server and CRM systems
    into modern cloud platforms.
  • Technical understanding of:
  • Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Delta Lake, Spark, SQL, Python
  • Data modelling (Kimball or similar), ETL pipelines, orchestration frameworks
  • CRM data structures (Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience managing
    offshore/onshore delivery teams
    .
  • Agile / Scrum / DevOps practices
    for data engineering and analytics delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at both technical and executive levels.

Desirable

  • Industry experience in
    Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Government
    .
  • Experience in large-scale
    cloud adoption and data modernization programs
    .
  • Familiarity with
    data governance, security frameworks, and compliance standards
    .
