The Byrnecut Group

With over 6,000 employees, the Byrnecut Group is a full-service underground mining contractor, providing services to major mine owners throughout Australia and Internationally. We operate a multi-million dollar fleet of specialised underground mining equipment across multiple continents and conditions.

We are currently seeking experienced underground Charge Up Operators for our Western Australian Operations

Responsibilities:

  • Development
    and production charging
  • Safe
    and efficient handling, transport and storage of explosives and blasting
    agents
  • Ensure
    compliance and implementation of site blasting and evacuation procedures
  • Conducts
    preparation for blast holes in accordance with site procedures to minimise
    misfires and improve utilisation of explosives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months Underground Charge Up experience
  • Current WA Shot Firer's Licence
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
  • Current and Valid Australian Manual Drivers Licence
  • Preferred candidates to reside in Western Australia
