About the Business

Catalyst Metals owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The Plutonic Gold Mine produces 85koz of gold annually. The Company also holds the Four Eagles Gold Project in Bendigo.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, the Company plans to bring three new mining areas at Plutonic into production.

Working a 8:6 7:7 roster, departing from Perth you'll fly directly to Plutonic arriving within 90mins of departure. Once onsite you are accommodated in a well-established camp that boasts a substantial gym, squash courts, multipurpose court, pool, modern ensuite rooms, just to list some of the facilities.

The Role

Reporting to the UG Mining Supervisor, the Charge Up Operator is primarily responsible for:

  • Provide safe handling, transport and storage of explosives.
  • Provide correct disposal, and elimination of wastage of all explosive products.
  • Ensure development rounds are charged up as per development standards.
  • Conduct production charging as per charge plans and production charge procedure.
  • Water down all headings prior to commencing work to ensure dust suppression.
