About the role

What you'll be doing

  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to complete carpentry tasks
  • Carry out a range of carpentry and joinery work including framing, roofing, flooring and cabinetry
  • Use hand and power tools
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the construction team to problem-solve and deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain a safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

  • Trade qualification in Carpentry
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
  • Proficient with a range of hand and power tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety and quality
