Key Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Achieve or exceed Area sales budget Weekly, Monthly and Yearly
  • Track, understand and know your area financials. Including budgets, current sales performance, past sales results, top & bottom performing stores, store traffic/conversion and Key performance metrics.
  • Drive Sales opportunities using Omni Sales platforms.

Customer Service & Product Knowledge:

  • Ensure customer always feel welcome in stores and are never forgotten.
  • Be passionate about our brands and product, ensure you and the team are experts in product knowledge, brand heritage and seasonal campaigns and are sharing it with customers as part of the instore experience.

Team Management:

  • Lead by example. Passion and commitment are contagious.
  • Train and develop your team to achieve personal and group goals.
  • Coach and develop your team daily. Delegate and share responsibilities to ensure development areas are used to their full potential.
  • Monitor individual stores performance weekly & monthly to ensure you can make strong business decisions when rostering, succession planning and recruiting.
  • Conduct a quarterly succession plan with the Retail GM to set up your area for future growth.
  • Conduct Area meetings & mini training sessions that include store financials, product information & listen sessions.
  • Ensure all team members are up to date with current business, brand, and product information.
  • Ensure fortnightly rosters are distributed to store teams, ensuring they are financially sound and in line with team structure, development needs and performance expectations.
  • Raise and manage any team performance issues within your area alongside the Store Manager.
  • Undertake performance management and necessary disciplinary action with the assistance of the Retail GM or HR.
  • Ensure all team members always present themselves in line with company and brand standards and expectations.

Visual Merchandising & Marketing: 

  • Ensure stores are presented in line with VM standards and campaign set guidelines at all times
  • Complete and analyse best sellers reports throughout the week an implement learning in store merchandising and inventory management.
  • Suggest and manage local area marketing initiatives to maximise sales and lift the store profile.

Stock:

  • Monitor fast and slow selling styles and act as needed.
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing stock transfers are managed effectively in store, and via inter store transfers.
  • Ensure Store Managers communicate any stock delivery discrepancies to the Retail Buyer with 24 hours of the stock arriving in store.
  • Complete seasonal stocktakes with store team, Retail Buyer, Retail Operations and Retail GM.

Performance Indicators:

  • Achievement of Area/Stores total Budget
  • Utilizing Omni Sales Initiatives and opportunities
  • Control of Store expenses
  • Achievement of Store Shrinkage targets
  • Achievement of Store wages and roster targets
  • People & Succession Plans are in place for future growth.
  • Store promotions and marketing are implemented effectively.
  • Engagement in Local Area marketing
  • Store team present themselves on brand at all times.
  • Store Admin and policies are adhered to at all times.
  • Financials and team goals are up to date and communicated to the team and retail support roles daily,
