An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Area Manager to join the Horseland retail network as part of the Weatherbeeta Group, based in Dandenong Sth (VIC). As the Area Manager you will be responsible for leading the assigned Horseland store teams to achieve their sales goals and KPI's, through developing exceptional customer service and operational standards. This role is suited to a hands-on Manager that is accustomed to frequent travel. You will be responsible for leading and inspiring Horseland retail employees across the Victoria and South Australia regions.
Key Accountabilities
- Create a culture of engagement, results-driven focus, and excitement for our brands and, values and strategies.
- Focus on delivering exceptional customer experience, through leading by example and coaching your team on best practice.
- Recruit and onboard new Horseland team members.
- Create and deliver engaging tools and training to help your team reach their KPI's.
- Oversee the implementation of all Visual Merchandising direction to a timeframe and standard, in consultation with Merchandising managers and store staff.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement with a solution focus and providing constructive feedback to the National Retail Manager.
- Implement marketing strategies that position Horseland as the Heart of the Equestrian Community.
- Manage all aspects of retail operations within your Area.
Key Capabilities
- A passion for retail and driving sales outcomes.
- Experience in multi-site management, within a retail business.
- Strategic and customer-focused mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to drive strong people management with the ability to inspire and develop high performing teams.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Adept at interpreting data and reporting results to management/SLT.
Solid understanding of visual merchandising and the ability to implement cohesive, brand-aligned strategies.
Strong knowledge of equine industry - work history or personal.
