Digital Content OfficerCouncil is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Digital Content Officer to contribute to Council's success.

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to promote Gladstone Regional Council through high quality digital content that is effective, engaging and maximise positive exposure for Council through videography and photography and enhance internal communication.
Your role will include:
- Promoting a positive Workplace Culture
- Developing your career in local government
- Being present, pro-active and solutions-focused and recognise that the community is the core of our business.
You will bring:
- Tertiary Qualification in Multimedia (or related discipline) and/or demonstrated relevant practical experience in a media, digital content, production discipline or similar role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in video, audio and animation editing programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe After Effects and VYOND video animating software or similar.
- Ability to produce professional quality photographs.
- Ability to edit and manipulate photos using image editing and retouching software.
- Strong visual communicator with a high attention to detail.
- Time management, problem solving and organisational skills to meet regular deadlines and to deliver to briefs on time.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
- Must be eligible and willing to obtain on appointment, a positive notice Working with Children Blue Card.
- Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
