About The Role:

As VIC State Service Manager, you will:

• Lead and support your team: Work alongside your Service Technicians, providing hands-on guidance while fostering a culture of collaboration, high performance, and professional growth.
• Develop and grow the team: Mentor, inspire, and coach your technicians to help them build skills, improve performance, and reach their full potential.
• Enhance customer experience: Ensure every customer interaction exceeds expectations, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
• Manage operations: Plan and allocate resources, optimise van stock, and monitor key performance indicators including productivity, response times, and first-time fix rates.
• Champion safety and compliance: Maintain strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards keeping your team and customers safe.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience managing and developing large field service or technical teams.
• Strong leadership and team-player mindset. You lead by example and actively support your team.
• Customer focused attitude. You understand the importance of strong relationships and service excellence.
• Mechanical aptitude. Able to understand equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support your team in the field.
• Initiative and problem-solving skills. You act without waiting for direction.
• Strong organisational, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ideally have a trade qualification (electrical, refrigeration, plumbing) and experience with field service management systems (Oneforce, Service Max, etc.)
• Current driver's licence.
