About the Role:

We're currently seeking a Service Advisor to join our team at Canberra Truck Repairs. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring their vehicles are serviced, maintained, and repaired efficiently. You'll work closely with our technicians, schedule jobs, and provide accurate updates to customers.

Working hours: 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday and 8am – 12pm Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and manage service enquiries professionally.
  • Accurately book in jobs, prepare service documentation, and schedule work.
  • Liaise between customers and workshop technicians to ensure clear communication.
  • Provide timely updates on progress, costs, and repair timelines.
  • Process invoices, warranty claims, and ensure service records are accurate.
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships and resolve issues effectively.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Service Advisor or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy trucks, diesel engines, or related equipment. Light automotive experience is accepted.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving ability.
  • Computer literacy (service management systems, Microsoft Office).
