About the Role:

As Workshop Controller, you'll oversee the daily operations of our heavy vehicle workshop, ensuring efficient job allocation, high-quality repairs, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You'll lead a team of skilled diesel technicians, supporting them to deliver exceptional service to our fleet and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage workflow and job scheduling for heavy vehicle servicing and repairs
  • Allocate tasks based on technician expertise and job urgency
  • Monitor job progress and ensure timely delivery
  • Uphold safety standards and compliance with NHVR regulations
  • Liaise with service advisors, and customers regarding job status
  • Mentor and support workshop staff to maintain high performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in similar role (Workshop Controller, Foreman, or Senior Technician)
  • Strong leadership, team management and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of truck, trailer, and machinery systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
  • HR or HC license (preferred but not essential)
