We help the world run better

At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

Role Overview

  • Are you passionate about the transformative power of cloud data and analytics? Are you ready to help Australia's public and private sectors unlock greater efficiency and insight through smarter data strategies and migrations?
  • Join SAP and play a leading role in redefining how organisations harness the potential of SAP Business Data Cloud and advanced analytics. As a Senior Business Process Consultant, you will architect and design complex data and analytics solutions, provide strategic leadership, and guide teams to deliver impactful outcomes. This is your opportunity to set new industry benchmarks and drive real transformation where it matters most

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the modernisation of legacy data and analytics platforms (such as SAP BW), developing and executing strategies to migrate and transform these environments to cloud-based architectures, leveraging SAP Business Data Cloud and related technologies.
  • Architect and design end-to-end data management and analytics solutions using SAP Business Data Cloud, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Provide strategic advisory to clients, developing data strategies and roadmaps that align with organisational objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Lead and mentor delivery teams, providing technical direction and best practice guidance at both regional and, where required, global levels.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders (including C-level executives) to understand business needs, facilitate workshops, and drive business use case discovery.
  • Oversee the implementation of data integration, modelling, and analytics solutions, ensuring quality and consistency across projects.
  • Maintain deep expertise in SAP's data and analytics portfolio, with a focus on SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP HANA Cloud.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within project teams and across the wider SAP community.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Support the sales process as a subject matter expert, including proposal development, solution scoping, and customer presentations.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP and client project methodologies, including Activate and relevant frameworks.

Education, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in solution architecture and design for large-scale data and analytics platforms, ideally within the SAP ecosystem.
  • Strong experience with SAP data and analytics solutions (such as SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA Cloud, or similar platforms), with the ability and motivation to rapidly learn and apply new SAP Business Data Cloud capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and instruct teams across regions and, where required, globally, fostering knowledge transfer and capability uplift.
  • Solid understanding of cloud concepts, data architecture, and enterprise data management.
  • Demonstrated experience working with or for government agencies or large enterprises.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to capture business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.

Beneficial

  • Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks and/or Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience in artificial intelligence (AI), particularly with SAP Business AI or similar enterprise AI solutions.
  • Experience in business planning and financial processes (e.g., SAP BPC, SAP Planning, or similar solutions).
  • Knowledge of ABAP programming and its application within SAP data and analytics environments.

Personal Attributes

  • High integrity, reliability, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Self-starter with a passion for learning and staying ahead of technology trends.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, inclusive mindset.

Customer-Facing Skills

  • Ability to inspire confidence and engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
  • Skilled at delivering clear, concise presentations and facilitating workshops.

Travel

  • Willingness to travel as required, primarily within Brisbane and occasionally interstate or internationally.
