TRAFFIC CONTROL MANAGER

BIH is seeking an experienced and conscientious manager to lead and grow our Traffic Management Division, so stop dreaming and have your sea change.

At the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef you'll have a great place to work, lifestyle, beaches, fishing and no traffic lights.  Bowen is located at the northern end of the Whitsunday region.  Schools (Prep to Grade 12), hospital, shopping centres and sports clubs ensure you are covered for all the amenities you will need. However, you are also a short drive to Townsville, Mackay and Airlie Beach.

BIH is a well-respected and busy company based in Bowen.  We specialise in providing services to the Mining, Industrial, Commercial and Residential businesses from North Queensland down to South-East Queensland.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily pre-start/toolbox meetings
  • Drafting and submission of traffic management plans ensuring compliance
  • Site safety audits
  • On the job work, as well as time in the office generating new business
  • Generating new contracts and development of client relationships
  • Must be a team player, with a great work ethic and positive attitude
  • Reporting to General Manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience
  • Minimum TCO (Level 1) and TMI (Level 2), preferably Level 3 or 4.  However all applicants are encouraged to apply.
