About the role - 

The Finance Business Partner Analyst role plays a crucial role in LMG's financial strategy and is critical to supporting high quality data based decision making. As a trusted business partner, the position is responsible for supporting the Finance Business Partners in providing financial insights, analysis and support to LMG executives and their leadership teams. Working closely with the Group Executive Finance and Corporate Strategy, the Finance Business Partner Analyst will support the business to drive profitability, improve financial performance, and ensure the achievement of key strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities -In depth financial analysis and reporting - identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementPrepare and enhance regular financial reports on performance, providing insightful commentary and highlighting key performance areas and variances to be addressedDevelop strong relationships across the business, building a reputation as a trusted advisor to leaders to support critical decision makingInvolvement in the budgeting and forecasting processes, developing budget models, uploading and downloading from Jedox, and playing a co-ordination role to ensure budgets are built and loaded within set timeframesDeveloping high quality forecasts informed by trend analysis and strategic objectivesAssist in the development of strategic plans through the provision of financial analysis and input, modelling key strategic initiatives and assessing financial feasibilityDrive process improvements within the finance team to enhance efficiency and accuracy of reporting and budget processesWork closely with the Financial Control team to deliver high quality financial reporting and to identify financial risks and mitigation of theseAd hoc financial analysis and project and initiative support as required to address specific business matters

To succeed in this role you will bring with you - 

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or CA qualifiedProven experience (2+ years) in a business partner role, experience in financial services preferredExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholdersExperience in stakeholder management, bringing clear communication, consulting and advisory skills to support the businessStrong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysisProficient in general ledger and financial reporting systems, preferably with experience using the Jedox management accounting platformStrong leadership skills with the ability to stretch and develop a teamExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders
