Our client, a leading civil contractor in Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in civil projects including roads, bridges, drainage, and subdivisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil infrastructure projects.
  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to assess scope and risks.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors for pricing input.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to value engineering initiatives.
  • Assist with bid submissions and tender presentations.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in civil infrastructure estimating.
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and quantities.
  • Proficient in estimating software
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil infrastructure estimating.
