About this Role:

We are looking for a Support Worker who is skilled in encouraging participation, promoting inclusion, and providing compassionate, person-centred care. You will be committed to enhancing quality of life and supporting participants to live with dignity, comfort, and purpose, in ways that are meaningful to them.

You'll work with participants and their families to monitor and support their social, behavioural, and developmental wellbeing. You will also collaborate with other professionals to contribute to care planning and provide consistent, respectful support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide flexible support based on each participant's individual needs, abilities, and preferences
  • Promote participation, inclusion, and a sense of belonging
  • Offer personal care, community access, and home support where needed
  • Build respectful and trusting relationships with participants and their families
  • Support social, emotional, behavioural, and learning needs
  • Observe and document changes in wellbeing, behaviour, or support needs
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review support plans
  • Advocate for participants to access relevant community supports
  • Accurately complete admin tasks and use client management systems
  • Follow NDIS Practice Standards and Cessible Healthcare policies
  • Participate in ongoing training and supervision

Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • National Police Check
  • Working With Children Check (if required)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • A minimum of 1 year experience preferred.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $38.22 – $102.83 per hour
