About the role
Join our Housing Support Services team as a Case Worker on a permanent full-time basis at our Mirrabooka office. In this role you'll work closely with individuals to provide personalised one-on-one support and facilitate group activities tailored to their needs and goals. You'll be responsible for developing and monitoring assessments and case plans, ensuring clients receive the right therapeutic services—either directly or through referrals.
Additionally, you will support research projects where required, participate in and lead community forums and reference groups, support the intake process and provide early intervention and prevention support to individuals through trauma informed practice, person centred and strengths-based strategies.
About you
You'll be driven to support individuals facing complex challenges, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their personal goals. You'll have experience and knowledge in working with diverse cultures and communities and are able to deliver therapeutic interventions to individuals that is evidence based.
In addition, you will also possess:
- Relevant Bachelors Degree is preferred
- Prior experience in case work within the community service or health sector
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
