About the role

Apex Auto Express, a trusted automotive smash repair service in Northmead, NSW, is seeking a qualified and experienced Part-time Panel Beater to join our skilled team. In this role, you will play a vital part in restoring damaged vehicles to their former glory, contributing to the high-quality service we provide to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle damage and plan the most effective repair approach
  • Expertly carry out all panel beating and straightening work, using the latest tools and techniques
  • Ensure a high standard of finish on all repaired panels, with a focus on attention to detail
  • Collaborate with the paint team to ensure a seamless repair process
  • Maintain workshop equipment and tools in optimal condition
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to protect yourself and your colleagues
  • Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients throughout the repair process

What we're looking for

  • Qualified panel beater with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the automotive industry
  • Strong technical skills and expertise in vehicle panel repair and straightening
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
