About the role

Alto Pennant Hills Body Shop is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join our close-knit team. As a skilled Panel Beater, you will be responsible for the repair and restoration of damaged vehicles, ensuring they are returned to their pre-accident condition. This full-time role is based in our modern workshop in Pennant Hills, NSW. As approved prestige repairers for Audi, Land Rover, Volkswagen, Cupra, Skoda and Toyota, we are looking for someone who is highly skilled, reliable and someone who will fit in.

What you'll be doing

  • Inspecting damaged vehicles and assessing the required repairs
  • Performing high-quality panel beating and metal work to restore vehicles
  • Replacing and aligning damaged body panels, doors, bonnets and other components
  • Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting and completing final finishing work
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area to ensure efficient workflow
  • Collaborating with the wider team to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs
  • Adhering to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a qualified Panel Beater, ideally gained within the automotive industry
  • Strong technical skills in panel beating, metal work and vehicle restoration
  • Be qualified in Aluminum welding and repair and able to carry out structural repairs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • A keen interest in the automotive industry and a commitment to ongoing learning
  • A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transport
  • You must have your own transport to and from work and be punctual and respectful.

Preferred skills but not required:


•      Jig alignment bench and measuring experience chassis straighten, using mechanical and hydraulic equipment such as Spanesi or Celette


•      Spot welding, MIG and TIG welding experience


•      Extensive knowledge in dismantling and assembling European vehicles exterior / interior assembly's, cabin compartment trims and accessories


•       Knowledgeable with OEM structural repair methods and procedures


•       Perfectionist with quality of alignment and filler repairs


•       Knowledge of repair software, various diagnostic and scan tools
