About the role

We are seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join our team at Javelin Smash Repairs in Rozelle, NSW on a contract basis. To be considered, you WILL NEED EXPEREIENCE WITH ALIGNING STRUCTURAL PARTS OF THE CAR - HEAVY DAMAGE REPAIRS AND COMPREHENSIVE EXPERIENCE. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of skill and attention to detail.

What you'll be doing

  1. Carefully inspect damaged vehicles and assess the required repairs
  2. Straighten and realign vehicle body panels using specialised tools and equipment
  3. Perform metal finishing and smoothing techniques to restore panels
  4. Prepare surfaces for painting and liaise with the paint team
  5. Ensure all repairs meet industry standards and safety requirements
  6. Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  7. Provide excellent customer service by keeping clients informed of progress

What we're looking for

  1. WILL NEED EXPEREIENCE WITH ALIGNING STRUCTURAL PARTS OF THE CAR - HEAVY DAMAGE REPAIRS AND COMPREHENSIVE EXPERIENCE
  2. Proven experience as a Panel Beater, preferably in an automotive repair shop
  3. Strong technical skills in vehicle body repair, including metal straightening, welding, and painting preparation
  4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
  5. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  6. Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team
  7. Relevant trade qualifications or certifications
