Are you passionate about educating and mentoring those around you? Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Nurse looking for a new position?
Sunnybank Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse - Recovery / PACU to join our Operating Theatre on a full-time or part-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.
As the CN Recovery / PACU Role, your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee safe, quality care that meets current best practice standard
- Support and liaise with the Perioperative Services Manager, staff and VMO anaesthetist
- Understanding of legislative requirements, ACORN and sterilization standard
- Knowledge of accreditation processes and Quality / Risk management

Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Previous experience in a CN / Recovery / PACU role, or been practising in the role of anaesthetic nurse for more than 3-4 years in a team leader role
- Have completed relevant post graduate qualification or commitment to commence within 12 months of appointment
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with NSQHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Experience in similar position (desired)
- Excellent Communication and Customer Services skills
- Highly organised and strong ability to prioritise tasks
