About your role

As a Clinical Nurse in the Metro South Pain Rehabilitation Centre, you'll play a key role in providing advanced clinical assessment, care planning and coordination for patients living with complex and persistent pain conditions.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver specialised nursing care and support to patients with persistent pain.
  • Lead and coordinate care planning, delegation, and supervision of nursing staff.
  • Provide clinical education, mentorship and leadership to support a learning culture.
  • Participate in service development, quality improvement and evidence-based initiatives.
  • Promote person-centred care that integrates physical, psychological and social wellbeing.
  • Engage in clinical research, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

You are an experienced and compassionate clinical nurse who brings advanced assessment and problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset and a commitment to improving outcomes for people living with chronic pain.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated advanced clinical and leadership skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Sound knowledge of pain rehabilitation or related clinical specialty.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a focus on patient-centred outcomes.
  • Commitment to professional development, education and evidence-based practice.
  • Postgraduate qualification (or progress toward) in a relevant specialty (highly regarded).
  • Commitment to work Monday to Friday day shifts.
