Full TRAINING and SUPPORT of experienced staff will be provided.
You will be guided by our Specialty Manager Yvette, Urgent Care Manager Kirsty and Training Officer Alfred as well as our welcoming and supportive nursing team.

The role
Daily duties include inpatient care, pre and post operative care, emergency and critical nursing, admit/discharge of patients, induction/monitoring of anaesthesia and sedation, as well as maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice including ward areas and equipment. You will always be working with several other people in the team, as well as numerous nurses in the other departments for support. Additionally, you will receive support and guidance from our dedicated Training Officer to ease your induction and further your growth.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and expertise:
- Certificate IV Vet Nursing qualification or holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
- Minimum of 1 years experience
- Desire to grow professionally and undertake further training
- Knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Willingness to participate in rotating roster (Mon-Sun) including night shifts
- Possess initiative and a positive mindset

Our purpose-built veterinary specialist centre in Mile End, Adelaide is designed around the idea of "working together" and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. We are an independent centre and therefore we have the freedom and flexibility to do things our way (for example: we named our centre after our cat).
Three permanent roles are available, including full-time and part-time. Because we provide excellent vet care, we believe in providing excellent remuneration packages that truly reflect your skills and knowledge.
Financial loading ($33-40/hr onwards with night and weekend loading up to 200%) and other incentives apply providing an attractive salary which will grow with you as you develop your career.
