About the role
  • Drive continuous improvement in data quality management processes, ensuring AV's data is accurate, reliable, and fit-for-purpose
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards, policies, and best practices to support operational efficiency and compliance
  • Work closely with teams to embed data quality requirements into system design, data collection, and reporting tools, addressing areas of non-compliance in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Lead the refinement, implementation, and continuous improvement of AV's Data Governance Framework, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, legislative requirements, and organisational objectives
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of analysts and specialists, providing a clear vision and strategic guidance on best practices in data strategy, governance and data quality management
About you
  • Extensive experience providing expert advice on complex data governance and data quality issues across senior levels of an organisation (healthcare or public service/sector is highly desirable)
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, regulatory frameworks and privacy laws
  • Experience and proven ability in the identification of data and analytics needs in a complex organisation and in the strategic interpretation of analysis to support the development of effective improvement and innovation strategies
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to adopt a principled and professional approach to dealing with all types of competing priorities and situations
