Product Manager Insurance

Job Description
o Work with a cross-functional team to help determine the product & business model
o Design & develop the product, leveraging research, analysis and customer feedback
o Support the internal stakeholders by providing product information and SME guidance
o Working with commercial teams on financial business cases, considering costs and
o pricing based on the customer's perceived value.
o Supporting the project delivery and transformation teams on strategic product delivery
o Define product requirements, user stories, and specifications in collaboration with
underwriting, technology, and customer experience teams.
o Oversee go-to-market plans, including internal training, communications, and collateral
development.
o Ensure the seamless execution of product changes, including system configuration, policy
documentation, PDS updates, and regulatory submissions.
o Monitor post-launch performance to ensure that products are meeting defined objectives
and customer expectations, and make data-informed recommendations for improvement.
o Ensure all products and changes are developed and maintained in compliance with ASIC,
APRA, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
o Lead product design and delivery under Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO) and
ensure high-quality PDS and TMD documentation.
o Support internal and external audit, risk, and governance processes, including incident and
breach reporting where applicable.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriting, claims, legal, technology,
distribution, marketing, and digital experience to ensure seamless product delivery and
support.
o Act as a key contributor in steering committees or delivery squads where general insurance
product changes are involved.
