Storeperson – Pathway to Trainee Parts Interpreter

The Opportunity

We're looking for an energetic Storeperson to join our team at CPG (Ches Power Group) in Bibra Lake.

This role offers on-the-job training in our modern, purpose-built facility with the chance to progress into a Parts Interpreter Traineeship for those keen to grow their career.

What You'll Do

  • Receive, store, and dispatch parts and equipment
  • Assist customers and internal teams with parts enquiries
  • Learn to identify and source correct parts for engines and equipment
  • Support inventory control, stock counts, and data entry in our parts system

What We're Looking For

  • School leavers or early career starters encouraged to apply
  • Interest in mechanical, automotive, or power generation industries
  • Good communication skills and basic computer knowledge
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team environment

About CPG

As the authorised Volvo Penta Centre for Western Australia, CPG supplies and supports premium industrial, power generation, and marine engines across the state.

Requirements

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
  • Must be physically fit
  • This role is physically active and requires someone who is fit and capable of regular manual handling and lifting as part of daily warehouse duties.
