Our client seeks a People & Culture Business Partner to join their progressive Mudgee-based team.

Reporting to the CEO, the key responsibilities of this newly created role are:

  • Performance and Capability Development


• Partner with the CEO and Leadership Team to embed a values-driven, inclusive culture.
• Coach Managers to effectively manage performance and build high-performing teams.
• Oversee training and learning frameworks to support staff growth.

  • Employee Relations and Compliance


• Ensure compliance with all NSW and Commonwealth employment legislation, workforce obligations, and industrial instruments.
• Manage employee relations matters including grievances, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain HR policies and procedures that are current, compliant, and accessible.

  • Remuneration and Award Compliance


• Lead salary banding and remuneration benchmarking aligned to awards and organisational values.
• Review and enhance remuneration policy to ensure equity and retention.

  • Recruitment and Workforce Planning


• Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding to attract and retain talent aligned with the organisation's mission.
• Champion diversity and inclusion in all hiring processes.
• Forecast workforce needs and implement strategic workforce planning initiatives.

ABOUT YOU:

Our client seeks proven experience in a HR Generalist / Leadership role coupled with relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a Business-related field. You must also possess strong coaching, influencing, and change management skills. Proven ability to build trust, lead HR projects, and partner with diverse stakeholders is a must. Deep knowledge of NSW employment law, Fair Work legislation will be most highly regarded.
