Senior UX Writer

We're looking for a Senior UX Writer to help lead the creation of exceptional customer experiences across our global product. This role goes beyond producing engaging copy - you'll drive content strategy, ensure consistency across journeys and platforms, and influence how our brand is expressed in every interaction. You'll mentor others, lead complex initiatives, and collaborate with product, design, data, and research partners to deliver impactful, inclusive content solutions.
This is a 12 month Parental Leave (FTC) in office Monday - Thursday and working from home on Friday.
Role based in Sydney or Melbourne.
About the role
- Produce and oversee clear, concise, useful, and engaging copy that aligns with UX principles and the Prezzee brand.
- Define and shape content strategies across journeys and regions, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Partner at a strategic level with designers, PMs, researchers, and engineers to influence roadmaps and product direction.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level UX writers, uplifting the overall content design craft.
- Lead content design for complex, ambiguous initiatives, identifying risks and framing solutions.
- Champion accessibility, inclusivity, and localisation in all content.
- Oversee and evolve our Content Style Guide, embedding scalable patterns and ensuring alignment across products, platforms, and regions.
- Leverage a Translation Management System to efficiently localise product content for different markets, countries, and regions.
- Use data, research, and insights to drive decisions and measure impact.
About you
- 5+ years of professional experience in UX writing or Content Design.
- A portfolio demonstrating high-quality UX content and strategic thinking.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders.
- Ability to balance craft excellence with business and customer outcomes.
- Strong mentoring, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of accessibility, inclusivity, and localisation standards.
- Familiarity with design systems, style guides, and working in agile environments.
