The incumbent is expected to deliver Foundation Studies Arts courses, i.e. Culture and Communication, International Issues and Perspectives; Diploma in Media and Communication courses; and/or Pre-Master's in Media/Art and Design courses

The essential criteria for this role:

A relevant academic qualification and minimum of 3 years' experience teaching foundational Arts/ Social Sciences & Humanities courses,

Demonstrated understanding of teaching foundational concepts and skills including modelling and applying these, checking the students' understanding and being prepared to find effective ways to engage the students over lengthy programs,

Demonstrated experience supporting students of diverse learning and cultural backgrounds, as well as students of varied capability,
-
Experience in, and commitment to technology-enabled learning and teaching.
