We are looking for a passionate HR Generalist to join a team that loves what we do, works hard in a fast-paced environment but all while having fun. Based at our Geelong Head Office, this role will be responsible for performing all facets of HR including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and compliance. Led by the HR Manager, you will be supported to take ownership of your work, challenge the status quo, and contribute your strengths in a transparent and collaborative environment.
Your tasks will include:
- Partner with the business to provide operational HR Support and advice
- Managing end to end recruitment, talent pools and proactive recruitment strategies
- Support performance discussions (including disciplinary) in conjunction with the team as required
- Participate and contribute to various HR projects and initiatives as required
- Implementing systems of work to provide meaningful data, reporting and analytics
- Maintain internal HR systems and processes
- Build strong partnerships with employment service providers (ESPs) and registered training organisations (RTOs)
- Ad hoc HR Duties
- Occasional interstate travel when needed to support the business.
About You
As the sole HR Generalist, the successful applicant will have experience with blue-collar workers and demonstrate a proactive nature, strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail and display natural confidence.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in HR
- Experience in HR or Recruitment role is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident influencer with solid stakeholder management.
- Customer focused and proficient in building and nurturing working relationships.
- Holistic understanding of business operations.
