Dicker Data is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Sales Specialist to join our dynamic Software Licensing Team. If you're passionate about software solutions, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love connecting the dots between sales, distribution, and product management - this is your opportunity to shine.

As a Software Sales Specialist, you'll be responsible for the administration of quotes, orders, and requests, including problem order management. You'll act as a key liaison between Sales, Distribution, Product Management, and BDMs, ensuring smooth and accurate processing across the board.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Quality

• Undertake vendor training to build and maintain product knowledge
• Achieve a comprehensive understanding of vendor tools and business processes

Order Management

• Issue return authorisations in line with company guidelines
• Resolve order issues promptly and document investigations thoroughly
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
• Monitor email inbox and respond to requests efficiently
• Answer incoming calls professionally and promptly
• Use vendor platforms to retrieve authorisation numbers and product qualifications
• Assist resellers with licensing queries and recommend relevant programs

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• High degree of enthusiasm, flexibility, and initiative
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook and MS Excel
• Strong grasp of vendor processing requirements
