About The Role
The
Forklift Operator
role is a
Full-Time
position, based at our PGH Bricks site in
Oxley, QLD
. Reporting to the
Manager
you will be responsible for the operation and production of bricks, while maintaining quality, low cost, and safe work practices.

In This Role You Will

  • Actively support and promote a safety-first culture. We aim for a zero-harm workplace where everyone looks out for each other - Never Walk Past principle.
  • Operate a forklift in the brick factory.
  • Support and usage of the WHS&E system, workplace assessments, yard delivery performance, and Quality Control of the product leaving the yard through performance measurements.
  • Be responsible for safe & efficient operation of machinery, accurate & timely loading of company and customer trucks.
  • Housekeeping around the yard.

A forklift licence is essential to perform duties in the warehouse.

What You Bring To The Role

  • A strong commitment to workplace safety and wellbeing

  • Attention to detail, especially when it comes to safety, quality, and process accuracy.
  • Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high volume, multiple stage continuous manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.
  • Forklift licence essential
  • Strong understanding of production operations
