About Us
Devon Netball Association is a vibrant community dedicated to promoting netball through excellence, inclusivity, and collaboration. We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Administrator to support our operations and drive the success of our association.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily communications with stakeholders including the committee, coaches, players, sponsors, and external partners.
- Generate and maintain rosters (Autumn, Spring, Junior & Twilight Carnivals) using PlayHQ.
- Oversee player registrations to ensure compliance with Netball Australia and Netball Tasmania guidelines.
- Liaise with suppliers for sporting equipment, trophies, and other goods.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and the Annual Report for committee meetings and the AGM.
- Maintain and update Devon Netball Association policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Promote a health, safety, and wellbeing culture, reporting hazards and participating in risk assessments.
- Manage social media and website updates, ensuring timely and accurate content.
- Support sponsorship relationships and prepare proposals.
- Coordinate carnival logistics, including rosters, invitations, and nominations.
- Collaborate with Devonport City Council to maintain the netball centre facilities.
Essential Attributes
- Strong knowledge of netball.
- Excellent time management and ability to work unsupervised.
- Flexible availability to meet Association needs, including carnival attendance.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with PlayHQ and Office 365.
- Skills in website design and social media management.
