Position SummaryAs a Business Development Manager at QuickQuote (QQ), you will be the driving force behind our business expansion and client relationships in Australia.
Your mission: engage with potential QQ clients and win them, collaborate with QQ's trade association partners to turn prospects into loyal clients, work with QQ's customer services team to grow activity levels from newly onboard and existing clients. Along with the selling of QQ, you'll work on finding other general insurance opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Expand Our Client Base: Regular outbound prospecting, networking, and strategising with trade association partners.
- Maintain Strong Customer Relationships: Stay in regular contact and address client issues promptly.
- Communicate Our Services: Effectively convey our capabilities to prospects and clients.
- Log and Track Sales Activities: Use our CRM system.
- Participate in Sales Training: Stay updated on new product releases with key vendors.
- Working with the Sales and Marketing Team: Perform ad hoc duties as needed.
- 3+ years in business development, sales, or account management.
- Background in insurance /professional B2B services advantageous
- Proven track record of securing and managing high-value, long-term B2B engagements.
- Strong mix of commercial and technical acumen.
- Ability to plan and execute independently with high-level direction.
- Experience with CRM tools and business development metrics.
- Experience of Interstate business development.
- Fundamental knowledge of marketing, sales, customer experience & relationship management.
