The role
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will take charge of a high-volume, operations desk managing roles end-to-end across a diverse portfolio.
Your primary responsibility will be to understand our hiring managers' objectives, culture, and talent requirements, enabling you to provide proactive recruitment solutions. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers, guide them through the recruitment process, and ensure the delivery of high-quality candidates.
The role is based on our site in Pirie Street, Adelaide working closely with the People and Culture team
What the role involves:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and organisational goals.
- Use various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Review resumes, conduct initial candidate assessments and screen applicants.
- Provide a positive and engaging candidate experience, offering clear communication, feedback, and guidance throughout the recruitment process.
- Facilitate salary and benefit negotiations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and talent market dynamics.
- Use our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate information, track recruitment metrics, and generate reports for your business unit.
- Actively contribute to Diversity & Inclusion targets and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipelines.
- Contribute to the development and promotion of the organisation's employer brand to attract top talent.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with organisational goals and values.
What you will bring with you
- Significant experience in in-house blue-collar, high-volume recruitment.
- Experience using ATS / CMS systems such as LiveHire or Dayforce.
- Experience using Seek Talent Search and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, talent acquisition strategies, and industry best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport at all levels.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs of the company.
- MS Office, in particular MS Excel intermediate experience mandatory
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Growth mindset and continuous improvement focus
