Local Pneumatic Tank Driver

The Local Pneumatic Tanker Driver will be responsible for operating single or B-Double combinations safely and in full compliance with road regulations and company safety standards. As a key member of our Projects Team, you will play an important role in supporting specialised transport operations. To be successful in this role, you must hold a current HC or MC Unrestricted Licence, along with a strong track record of safe driving and no major infringements.

Don't have Pneumatic Tanker experience? We can provide training and upskilling to ensure that you can not only safety and efficiently operate all equipment, but also do it with confidence.

What you will be doing…

• Operate a Pneumatic single or B-Double Tanker safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials to various destinations while adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Ensure the vehicle is maintained in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery, addressing any client queries or concerns professionally.
• Work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.

Do you have…

• Valid Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi-Combination (MC) Unrestricted licence with demonstrated experience.
• Demonstrated experience operating Pneumatic Tankers (desirable)
• A clean driving record with a proven record of safe driving with no major infringements.
• Understanding and compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations, mass, and fatigue management practices.
• Current Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation or willing to undertake the required training.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Effective customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage responsibilities effectively.

Additional Information…

• Successful applicants will be required to complete a Fit to Work medical, drug and alcohol screening and police check and will be required to provide an AFTD driving medical.
• Applicants should have a sound knowledge of chain of responsibility and on road legal compliance and a willingness to work with GPS technology is required.
• Must be comfortable with being away overnight during the week (home on weekends).
