Symons Clark Logistics is a 150-year-old, family owned, Port Adelaide based transport and logistics company. Our experience brings with it premium wharf cartage and container transport services, with a focus on providing customers with complete logistics solutions including warehousing, container pack/unpack, distribution, over-dimensional, heavy haulage, project logistics and Australia wide bulk haulage.

Symons Clark Logistics is seeking experienced and safety-focused subcontractor truck drivers to support our growing local container operations across the Adelaide region. As a valued subcontractor, you'll represent our business on the road, ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional delivery of containers while upholding the high standards Symons Clark Logistics is known for.

What you will be doing…


• Safely operating your truck in line with road regulations and company safety standards.


• Completing local container deliveries across the Adelaide metro area.


• Ensuring loads are safely secured, balanced, and compliant with transport requirements.


• Conducting pre-trip inspections and maintaining your vehicle to a high standard.


• Accurately completing all required transport documentation.


• Communicating effectively with our operations team and customers to ensure smooth delivery outcomes.

Do you have…


• A valid HC or MC (Unrestricted) Licence and demonstrated driving experience.


• A clean driving record with a proven record of safe driving with no major infringements.


• An understanding and compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations.


• Strong verbal communication skills.


• Effective customer service skills, ensuring customer satisfaction.


• Ability to work unsupervised and manage responsibilities effectively.


• Ability to work either a day shift, afternoon shift or evening shift.

• Load restraint, both straps and ratchet, and dog and chain.
