Avionics Airfield Lighting is a recognised leader in integrated airfield lighting solutions across Australasia. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative lighting systems, we are expanding our operations in Queensland and are currently seeking experienced Licensed Electricians to join and lead our Townsville-based team.


About the Role:

We're looking for motivated and qualified electricians to support and lead the delivery of civil and airfield lighting projects. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in specialised infrastructure work with a respected and growing company.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, test, and commission Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) systems
  • Deliver electrical infrastructure for civil and aviation-related projects
  • Supervise or assist electrical teams on-site
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Current Queensland Electrical Licence
  • Trade Assistants with strong civil experience are encouraged to apply
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Eligibility to work in Australia

Tasks & Expectations:
  • Carry out installation of AGL and associated infrastructure
  • Maintain compliance with all WH&S, Security, and Operational requirements
  • Take pride in your work and appearance – maintain assets as if they were your own
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to travel as required by the business
