We're a high-performing and industry-disrupting B2B technology marketing consultancy that is seeking a dynamic and driven Account Manager to deliver additional customer value and growth for our IT, cybersecurity and SaaS clients. We're transforming how the industry approaches marketing, with a laser focus on driving sales pipeline growth, and we're getting a lot of demand to expand internationally.
THE JOB
We're looking for a results‑driven Account Manager who can build relationships quickly, has a high energy and warm demeanour. You'll need to nurture relationships, work with our team to recommend growth opportunities for our customers and manage quotes/upsell-cross-sell systems. If you flourish at networking events, love hitting the road to see customers and are equally comfortable running through results and representing our team, you'll thrive here.
You'll be the commercial lead for our Managed Services customers, working alongside our Technical Strategists, Campaign Delivery Team, CEO and COO to drive growth.
You will be the vital link connecting our award-winning marketing delivery teams with our high-growth tech, MSP, SaaS and cybersecurity clients. You'll ensure they're seeing the value, loving the results, and ready to invest more with us.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cultivating Strategic Partnerships:
You'll build deep, trusting relationships with our B2B tech clients, positioning yourself as an essential strategic advisor, not just a random marketing agency contact.
- Driving Organic Revenue:
You are the primary spotter of commercial opportunities that will help our customers grow - this could be new projects, extra campaigns, MDF opportunities or launches. You'll identify, scope, and pitch upsell and cross-sell services that solve our clients' next big business challenge.
Your success is directly tied to client retention and growth.
- Being the Voice of the Customer:
You'll collaborate daily with our Campaign Operations Managers and Strategists, ensuring the delivery team is perfectly aligned with the client's strategic goals and translating client needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Leading High-Impact Onboarding and Reviews:
You'll work with the delivery team to prepare and co-present data-backed Onboarding and Quarterly Checkpoint Reviews that powerfully communicate performance, value, and future strategy.
Scope, draft and close existing customer sales opportunities:
including proposals, quotes and statements of work. You will also present business cases and proposals to C‑level and non‑technical stakeholders, addressing ROI and risk reduction.Travel across Australia and New Zealand to see customers:
This includes booking your own customer meetings, planning your itinerary, attending networking events, asking for referrals and ensuring each travel block yields results.
YOU'LL DO WELL HERE IF YOU HAVE:
- 3+ years' success Account Management in either marketing agency, IT, creative or professional services to SMB sized organisations (ie selling directly to the CEO or owner)
- Demonstrated track record of
meeting or exceeding
upsell/cross-sell and contract upgrade targets. - Solid understanding of marketing services and how they can drive sales pipeline
- Polished communication, presentation and proposal‑writing skills; able to translate tech jargon into business value.
- Strong organisational skills—juggling multiple leads without dropping the ball.
- Comfort collaborating with both local and offshore technical resources.
- A genuine curiosity for emerging tech and how it can solve real‑world business challenges.
