About the Role

Stellar Contracting Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Production Manager - Mining to join our team in Onslow, Western Australia. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment within the mining industry.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and review short-term and long-term production plans for the quarry, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and making adjustments based on actual conditions.
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Conduct daily workplace inspections to ensure compliance with safety and production standards.
  • Lead daily pre-start meetings, allocate tasks, identify safety issues, and explain risk control measures.
  • Take responsibility for the repair and maintenance of machinery or organize qualified personnel to carry out necessary repairs.
  • Manage stonemasons in risk identification and hazard control to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Control cutting areas and drilling angles to ensure the production of high-quality transport blocks from available stone.
  • Plan, organize, and direct production work in a safe and cost-effective manner.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager in the mining or quarrying industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and projects effectively.
  • Extensive experience in production planning, machinery maintenance, and site safety.
  • Ability to make informed decisions based on data and operational conditions.
  • Solid understanding of mining regulations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a FIFO role with a 3:1 roster.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
