As a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the School of Mathematics and Statistics and the ARC Research Hub for Discovery Project. Working closely with leading academics, you will develop your research expertise, participate in innovative projects, and engage with a vibrant academic community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct Innovative Research: Collaborate with the project team to drive research initiatives within the ARC Research Hub for Discovery Project and the School of Mathematics and Statistics.
- Develop and Publish Academic Work: Contribute to high-standard academic papers and other scholarly outputs, aligning with the University of Melbourne's research expectations.
- Engage and Mentor: Support postgraduate and research higher degree students through supervision, scientific mentoring, and training.

You may also:
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in English.
- Demonstrate high-level organisational and time-management skills.
- Have a strong understanding of algebraic geometry and the Langlands program.
- Exhibit a collaborative approach and the ability to work independently.
