The Opportunity
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead initiatives that directly grow ICFAL's investment base and financial sustainability.
Your primary goal: generate $5 million in new cash inflow within the first 12 months (including $1.5 million in the first quarter) by attracting new members, investors, and capital contributions into ICFAL's suite of Shariah-compliant products.
This is a pivotal role for a dynamic professional who can blend financial acumen, community connection, and strategic leadership to drive tangible growth for a values-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Investment Growth: Deliver a $5M capital inflow target through innovative business development strategies.
- Expand Market Reach: Identify and engage new member segments, investors, and institutional partners across Australia.
- Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with investors, partners, and community leaders.
- Lead Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to shape ICFAL's growth strategy and investment roadmap.
- Promote Brand Visibility: Represent ICFAL at events, conferences, and community programs to strengthen awareness and credibility.
- Support Marketing Initiatives: Work with marketing teams to deliver impactful campaigns and investor communications.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing (required).
- 5+ years' experience in business development, financial sales, or investment growth roles (Islamic finance experience highly regarded).
- Proven track record in achieving or exceeding capital or investment targets.
- Strong understanding of Shariah-compliant financial products and Islamic economic principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.
- Willingness to travel across regions and interstate for business development and stakeholder engagement.
