Business Development Manager - Transportation Services

Our client is a leading logistics specialist, offering end-to-end supply-chain solutions, from international freight forwarding and relocations through on-demand taxi-truck and courier services, to comprehensive warehousing and same-day regional delivery. They are seeking an experienced business development manager who thrives on building strong relationships and uncovering new opportunities.

Your new role

  • Prospect via cold calls, digital outreach and networking
  • Qualify & close new accounts across, taxi-truck, freight forwarding, courier and warehousing
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals that address client objectives
  • Build long-term relationships with prospects and existing clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions
  • Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities, customer segments, and emerging industry trends
  • Shape and mentor the sales function

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years' BDM/senior sales leadership in transport, taxi truck, logistics or freight forwarding
  • Proven cold-calling prowess and resilience
  • Commercial end-to-end supply-chain understanding warehousing, local & international freight, courier services
  • Self-starter who thrives on autonomy
