Casual Early Childhood Educators Wanted – Join Connect Children and Families

Connect Children and Families (Connect) is a not-for-profit organisation serving communities in the Blue Mountains, Lithgow, Hawkesbury, and Western Sydney. We are dedicated to supporting children and families' learning, safety, and wellbeing by providing services in homes, early childhood education centres, preschools, and community spaces.

Our Early Childhood Centres have a strong reputation for partnering with families and valuing the privilege of caring for their greatest treasure—their children.

We are expanding our Casual Relief Staff pool for Early Childhood Educators (Diploma or Cert III qualified) to join our team. This role allows you to make a positive impact by supporting families and fostering children's development in their early years.

As an Educator with Connect, you will receive the resources and support needed to excel in your role. We offer career progression opportunities, including coaching and mentoring. Your role will involve working within the Circle of Security model, helping children lead their day in an unstructured way, while supporting their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:


• Work in partnership with families


• Set, maintain, and evaluate goals


• Programming, observations, and curriculum planning

To be considered, you will need:


• Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care


• Current First Aid certificate, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma


• Valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check
