Serving communities in the Blue Mountains, Lithgow, Hawkesbury and Western Sydney, we are committed to overcoming barriers to a child's development, transition into school, and community life. We provide NDIS and Medicare-funded disability and allied health care programs, family support programs, and early childhood education and care. We support families to access services that respond to their needs, creating pathways across our services and to other community agencies that can support them.

As part of our portfolio, we have two centres in Hazelbrook, both located only a 30-minute drive from Penrith. Our centres are surrounded by the beautiful Blue Mountain scenery while still being close enough to the city.

Possum Early Childhood Centre is a unique 20 place program for 3-5 year old children, that operates 8:30am-4:30pm for 49 weeks per year. It has been twice rated (2016 and 2021) as exceeding the National Quality Standard.

We have a highly rewarding opportunity for a part-time **Early Childhood Educational Leader** to join our dedicated team, working with families to navigate the early stages of their little one’s life.

You will be working closely with our team, including our other Centre Directors, Educational Leaders and internal practice mentors. You will work collaboratively and participate in regular meetings where you will have a say in the direction of our centre and best practice approaches. Above all, this is an opportunity for you to receive ongoing support in this role.

In this part-time role, you will be working 32 hours a week, leading the educational program, in collaboration with our dedicated team of educators of our Possum Early Childhood Centre. This is a teaching role that includes 1 day per week off the floor.

Your core duties will fall within the following areas:

- Influence, lead and deliver high-quality service
- Mentoring team members
- Collaborate with families, the team and the community
- Provide ongoing learning and development

As part of the role, you will ensure that all relevant laws and educational frameworks are in-line with compliance standards for government early childhood education and care.

**You’ll be great in this role because**:
To thrive in this role, you will **possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Teaching (preferred) or a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care **and **significant experience working in Early Childhood.**
