Our company is seeking a Senior Demand Planner who will be responsible for all demand planning duties, including estimating future product demand, analysing inventory flow, and developing forecasting models. This position will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain, the role is currently based at our Maidstone Head Office, with a planned move to our Port Melbourne office in early 2026.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate and effective forecasting models aligned with industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Support management by conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives to enhance demand forecasting accuracy.
  • Communicate forecast results and inventory projections clearly to management.
  • Manage inventory levels to align with forecasted customer demand.
  • Identify opportunities to fulfill customer needs during periods of constrained supply.
  • Monitor and report on significant changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
  • Maintain and continuously improve demand planning processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with retailers, sales, and supply chain teams to optimise forecast accuracy.
  • Provide regular updates to retailers and sales teams on product availability.
  • Conduct monthly forecast reviews and adjustments.
  • Resolve demand-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with retailer demand planners to ensure alignment and consistency

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior demand planning or forecasting role within the wholesale or FMCG/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Solid mathematical and statistical analysis skills.
  • Experience working with ERP forecasting modules.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritise, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Flexibility to work across global time zones when required.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a positive team culture built on respect and collaboration.
