Senior Financial Accountant

Synopsis
Do you have strong financial and commercial analytical skills?
Land Services SA is seeking an analytical and results-driven Senior Financial Accountant who has a passion for numbers - and who thrives on using data to inform business decisions.

The role is responsible for supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements and also offers the opportunity to play a key business partnership role - working with key stakeholders as a trusted advisor.

With tertiary qualifications in accounting or related field and a CPA/CA qualification (or working towards) the successful candidate will ideally have experience in reviewing and investigating variances against budget and full year forecast, preparing financial models to support budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled in a timely manner, and some tax compliance work (FBT, payroll tax and income tax).

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Adelaide, South Australia which offers genuine flexible working arrangements.
