Position Available: Commis Chef Wok Station (Full Time)

We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 Years of Work Experience: Previous experience in a full-time chef role is essential for this position. Must have experience working on a wok station.

  • Passion for Team Collaboration: A knowledge and passion for working as part of a positive and enthusiastic team.

  • Culinary Expertise: Experience with Thai Cuisine and Modern Australian menus and a passion for food and cooking with the courage to be creative.

  • Thriving Under Pressure: The ability to perform and thrive in high-pressure moments while maintaining composure and delivering exceptional results.

  • Effective Communication: A high level of communication skills both with front of house and within your team when the pressure is on.

  • Organizational Skills: Time management skills and a commitment to maintaining prep levels with a high level of organization across all sections.

  • Leadership Qualities: The ability to be a leader within the team, guiding and inspiring others towards excellence.

  • Food Safety: Experience in maintaining food safety records to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

We Are Offering:

  • Competitive Salary: An annual salary in the range of $63,000 to $68,000, plus Superannuation, with potential for bonuses.

  • Probationary Period: A probationary period of 3 months to ensure mutual fit and alignment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,000.00 – $68,000.00 per year + Superannuation, Bonus scheme Schedule: Must be available on weekends

Ability to Commute/Relocate: Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Melbourne (required)

Experience: Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience (preferred)

Work Authorisation: Must be authorized to work in Australia (required)
