A Position has become available for a qualified Chef with at least 2 years' experience. The successful applicant will bring a passion for producing great food, healthy eating principles, an understanding of the latest trends, dedication to your duties, and a passion for the job. The candidate will also be a passionate chef who can stay calm during busy times and support the team around you to deliver quality meals.

Duties

  • Ability to maintain a consistent standard of food preparation;
  • Be organised and responsible with ability to show initiative and able work unsupervised;
  • Understand and follow health, safety and security procedures always;
  • Able to work as directed, as part of a team in the day to day operations of a commercial kitchen;
  • Menu development, add new seasonal dishes and implementation;
  • Take responsibility for ordering and stock control when required;
  • Preserve and store foodstuff at appropriate temperature-controlled facilities
  • Excellent work ethic with great communication skills;
  • Able to train cook or kitchen staff working under Chef Supervision
  • Available to work on a rotating roster of shifts, including days, nights, weekend and public holidays;
  • Qualified Australian trade certificate in Commercial Cookery;

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Experience:

Chef : At least 2 years' experience working in similar environment;

Salary

Attractive Salary package $72,000 to $77,500 + Superannuation per year for eligible candidate.
