Your role
As a Construction Verifier (Surveillance Engineer), you'll lead the delivery of key road infrastructure components, providing specialist technical guidance to ensure projects meet time, quality, cost, and stakeholder expectations. You'll collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and partner with clients to build a more sustainable world.
What you'll be doing
- Lead surveillance and auditing to ensure safety, quality, and contract compliance.
- Manage and mentor the surveillance team, including graduate engineers.
- Conduct audits across safety, environmental, and cultural heritage aspects.
- Monitor project progress, expenditure, and performance outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement and support best-practice construction standards.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide guidance on technical and contractual matters.
What you'll bring
- DTMR Prequalification Level SEU03 is mandatory
- Minimum 10 years post-RPEQ registration or substantial postgraduate experience in surveillance, verification, and contract management of complex road and bridge projects.
- Demonstrated experience in the administration of AS2124 style contracts such as Transport Infrastructure Contracts, Construct Only (TIC-CO), AS4300 style Design and Construct (D&C) Contracts, relational contracts, or Collaborative Project Agreements (CPA) or Alliance.
- Proven ability to manage projects to TMR policies, standards, and specifications.
- Strong technical knowledge, big-picture thinking, and excellent relationship-building skills.
